Moving On! Closing down Bananaspin

Today, I say goodbye to this blog. Good times, yes - but I think I have outgrown being "bananaspin" I just don't feel "it" anymore.

I started this blog shortly after I got published in Youngblood in 2004. I got a 'writing high' during that time and decided to publish this online column of my own. "Bananaspin" was a name of a drink I once tried at Segafredo's in Greenbelt (long gone, in its place now is the Flapjacks resto). The drink was a mixture of bananas and coffee. I can still remember its aroma.

We've gone through heartaches and heartbreaks, employment woes, major life decisions and milestones. We've gone places and we've talked about home.

Some of my favorite entries are the older ones, The Guitar, Wanted: Role Models, Choosing Reality -- and my all time favorite: The Basilan series.

I just feel like it's time for a change !!! Bananaspin will always be a part of me:-)
